-You have a cell phone and no land line
-You live in an apartment

And a telemarketer calls your cell phone about your home's mortgage, kindly stop them and tell them that since they are calling your cell phone, they have no idea about your place of residence, and therefore are on no grounds to be calling you. Ask to be placed on the Do Not Call list, and be done with them.
