Cheddar cheese maintenance

Cheddar cheese becomes hard when exposed to air for too long. Be sure to seal it well.

Pan greasing

When a recipe calls to grease a pan and there is no cooking spray available, take a chunk of butter and use a paper towel to smear it by hand. Your hand will stay relatively clean and the towel will absorb the butter, aiding the greasing process.

You can usually find a store's hours online through its website's location search feature.

Post shower

After showering, towel yourself off while standing in the shower stall before you step out. This way, you'll prevent the floor/bathroom mat from being soaked in water.

Broken outlet fix

If an outlet suddenly stops working, check if there's a red "reset" button in its middle. If there is, push it, and that should fix the problem.
